A lot of legend about this rural cemetery suggests malevolent spirits, and lots of paranormal activity. One story is that back in the '50s a local man was accused of murder. The police hunted him down and killed him without a trial and the man was buried in Blood Cemetery. The man's family, believing he was innocent held seances at his grave site. Another story involves a tree at the back of the cemetery where a man is said to have hung himself, legend goes that if you dare to climb the tree, his spirit will push you out of it.
