Site of 1920s craftsman home where my mother lived from 1970-71. There were strange lights and sounds in the house. Shortly before moving in, a man had murdered his mother's girlfriend in the house and burned her body in one of the bedrooms. Many of the kitchen surfaces were covered with contact paper to conceal blood spatter. The house was torn down around 1972 and replaced by apartment buildings.
