Here at the Eldridge, we've recorded a few accounts of unusual activity from employees. I thought I'd share a few that I found particularly interesting.
"When I was an assistant manager at the restaurant, we had a weird experience with one of the computers. It was early afternoon and no one was in the restaurant or bar. Suddenly the computer started printing order after order after order of pancakes. All of the tickets had random room numbers on them. The kitchen staff was asking me, 'Why are there so many orders for pancakes? It's afternoon, we don't serve pancakes right now!' I didn't know what to tell them. Now we have a running joke that it was the ghost of Col. Shalor Eldridge, the founder. Shalor must love his pancakes."
