Here at the Eldridge, we've recorded a few accounts of unusual activity from employees. I thought I'd share a few that I found particularly interesting.
"As a bellman, I often walk around the outside of the hotel to sweep up trash, cigarette butts, etc. One night I noticed that there was a window open with a light on inside on a night that wasn't very busy. It's not too unusual for lights to be left on, but I thought I would double check and make sure they weren't left on accidentally after housekeeping checked the room. I got on the front desk computer and sure enough, there was no one checked into the room at the time, so I went upstairs and closed the window and flipped the light off. I started to leave, but got a weird feeling that I should double check the room to make sure nothing else was left the way it shouldn't be, but when I turned around and headed back in, all the dresser drawers were pulled out.
