Here at the Eldridge, we've recorded a few accounts of unusual activity from employees. I thought I'd share a few that I found particularly interesting. We have several accounts concerning our elevator in particular.
"We often get comments about how the elevator will open up on random floors. Our guests will push the button for, say, the fourth floor, but the elevator will stop on a random floor and open the doors on the way up. The oddest, but also surprisingly common occurrence is when someone pushes the button in the elevator to go to the basement floor, but the elevator goes the 5th floor instead."
"In 2011, when I had first started working at the Eldridge, I had a strange incident when a young mother was checking out.
