I grew up in that house. It is pretty haunted. I would hear voices and laughter and my aunt slept in the rear bedroom and saw an apparition go through the bedroom into the closet. I slept in the ajoining bedroom and would see things coming from the ajoining closet from the ajoining closet. My brother slept at the end of his life in the rear bedroom and would see spirits in the trees outside of his bedroom. I suspect the whole neighborhood is haunted as the neighbor hung himself in the greenhouse and the neighbor on the other side almost hung himself and is still alive.... I lived in this house for a few months and experienced strange things going on. When in the house it always seems cold, and it always feels as though someone is watching you. My mother saw an apparition appear in front of her while in bed, my Dad saw a pool of blood under our dinner table which went away as soon as he turned on the light. We had the house blessed by a priest and when he was walking up the long walkway the master bedroom door and the front door both slammed shut. We later found out by a neighbor that a women was murdered there in the house a few years earlier and my Mom described her to a tee to the neighbor. There are several stories about the resident ghost, though one thing everyone agrees on is that it is the spirit of Nell Fleming, "Miss Nell." Miss Nell's beau, Charlie Good, was the founder of the Bay de Noquet Lumber Company, and the most popular story says that after Charlie left her, she kept watch from a second story window, waiting for his return. Her ghost is said to still be seen there, watching out the window for Charlie.
